I would advise knowing how to do the assigned homework. I would also suggest strongly to get a feel for the types of questions that are asked by practicing the multiple-choice in the “Links” tab above, keeping in mind the material that was not assigned. Coverage in the text is Chapters 7-11.2 (up to and including).
