Hi Guys,

Please find below a summary of recitation times. My suggestion is to attend our dedicated session on Wednesday (starting tomorrow) and only attempt to go to another session if you absolutely have to do so. The rooms will be quite full.

Cluster 1: MAC and ECE (Section B/E/F)
Tuesday 5-6 PM
SEC A 116 A (55 students)
SEC A 124 A (55 students)

Cluster 2: Bio and Life Science (Section C/D)
Wednesday 5-6 PM
C-109 (80 students)

Cluster 3: Health Science (Section J/K/L)
Thursday 5-6 PM
CTC-102 (80 students)
CTC-103 (40 students)

Cluster 4: Psychology (Section G/H/I)
Friday 3:30-4:30
SEC B 201 A (80 students)
SEC C 201 A (80 students)

Also, the lecture slide for today has been uploaded and the new Chem 7 homework problems prescribed for all sections have been pasted into the problem set tab. Check it out. Please don’t forget that practice makes perfect in this class :)

Why not try to attend another session if you can’t make it tomorrow? Note that the recitation not compulsory–it is highly recommended. I can say that the probability of passing this class with ease goes way up if you do attend, and if you practice the problems that have been assigned. Those that find Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 easy because they have a good high school background I dare say need not attend the recitation. But I know there are a majority of students in the class that need to attend every week to pass the class. I pushed for the setting up of Chem 7 recitation for the non-majors two years ago for students who need help. I hope you take advantage of it as the Department is doing what it can do to help you help yourself.

Later,
