Recitation time in still in limbo June 23, 2009

Hi Guys,

Okay. The head of Chem 7 indicated today that student charters prohibits instructors from holding any classroom activities on Mondays and Fridays from 4:00PM-6:00PM. Accordingly, this news will rule out the recitation that most folks thought they could make (i.e. M after 4). Also, Tuesday 9:30AM-10:30AM there are no rooms available so that tidbit rules out two of the three requested time I have received. In short, it is back to the drawing board to work this out.

Emman and Angelo, I need to ask you again to come up with recitation times for your sections and get back to me ASAP. From what I have been told by the Chem 7 head, Wednesday afternoon between 4-6 would be doable from a room perspective (again, its’ an hour recitation). Other days that have open rooms are T/Th from 4:00PM and onward. The last option is a recitation hour from 6PM-7PM on either T/W/Th.

Thank you.

Sir, isn’t it possible that we hold a separate class for the bio and the life sciences people because, primary, we can’t make a consensus with their schedule except for Mondays and Fridays? If we can, I propose the following timeslots
Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm
Tuesday/Thrusday: 9:00-10:00 am

Thanks sir!

No, it is not possible Angelo. It’s really simple you guys will have to figure out a “best” common time. What about 6-7PM on T/W/Th? It will be a mistake for the group to be the only section without a recitation. It’s brings with it a huge disadvantage which you won’t be able to make up. Bottom line: Emman and Angelo, you guys will have to figure it out.

I need to know what has been decided tomorrow morning. RBG
